Thought I'd create this handy little thread for anyone wanting to talk about football, by which I mean real football, known across other parts of the world as "soccer" (which in itself is an abbreviation of the correct name - "association football" - but I digress...)
I've created it in here in the good old UK forum since it looks a little bare and because I've seen many folks from other countries be entirely bemused at the way everything stops over here when there's a game on.

2. I support Doncaster Rovers, the pride of League One
3. I have done for nearly 30 years now, which is scary as I've just turned 32
4. We've had a crap start to the season, after being 2nd favourites for the title. 4 points from the first 5 games and a manager who doesn't look like he knows what he's doing.
5. I'm ever the optimist - we might make the play offs if we're lucky but I don't think we're ready for promotion just yet.

8. I think he's an all-right manager making the best of a bad situation and some players who think they're far better than they really are
