@Shaqie: Yes you're right...music production is hard...I know. I didn't expect to make a track in a moment..because that's impossible! The beautiful things are always slow to create...and this applies also to music ;)

@Aku&ghazaly: Yes you're right, in fact I've already seen some of those videos...but in that way you don't learn...you copy, and I want to make my style. I've learned DJing myself and will do the same with music composition and creation

@Vinid: The music theory is the base of the music. Without that everything else makes nonsense. I've found some sites about that that also have the "note ear training". I think it's useful to recognize correctly the sounds...and in a firther step to write down a note that I imagine
Np man, you knw how old we are?? We are 16!! lol and we started mixing a year ago on software, we tried using FL but we couldnt do shit so we thought we'd focus on mixing and getting a radio show, then buying decks and after all that start about producing. Take it one step at a time thats what most DJs we talked to told us. Dont try taking a big leap into producng.

Vinyls ftw! But sadly they are expensive and hard to find new releases anymore here in Finland . Otherwise I would have made all vinyl mix

I used Traktor Pro for my set,but i don`t think that this is of a big importance. At the end of the day,its all about the music imo.Just my 2 cents.

But i will be getting turntables and mixer to go with a DVS system, next year.I want to keep the feel of vinyl and still be able to use my music.I dont want to mess with cd`s..

See the problem is we cant afford 1000s.. We are saving up rom our monthly allowance so we are breaking a portion of it only so we can go through the rest of the month without any troubles.. Plus our parents wont help us out so imagine how long it will take to save up to the 400s even not the 1000s

I've used my lovely console that I have since I started DJing in 2007. It's very cheap (2xPioneer CDJ 100S + Behringer DJX700 Mixer) but I like it. How many moments and memories I've shared with that mixer and those players...
