No intention to fight for any reason Vamm...just at this point wondering what are you doing here...i could properly have a suspect it is your right to think whatever you want...but believe me there s no need for me to see through wikipedia to give you any kind of suggestions or infos on goth music scene...at this point keep talking about "ashes to ashes",probably without knowing from whom apoptygma were inspired to create their debut album...i could easily say that it is you consulting the wikipedia....and not mejust i see that is your second or 3rd post so i couldnt know that you re a radio producer...but still this cant change anything...is good some times to reflect on those ancient sayings-ena gnwrizw,oti den gnwrizw tipota-and still this couldnt be that bad...the fact is that we opened a topic not pointless but senseless...there 's always a point...
i think as a real "specialist" in the goth music scene you should know what the goth trance is without being retoric to that extend...i do understand your point of view and your logic...sometimes the love for someone or for something doesnt include any element of logic...
here we had a clear aim!MIXING....i doubt if you have listened the whole 23+hours of sets...or probably you re not able to talk about this aim underlined -probably- and not respected by some of the participants..

Hi guys, sorry for not being able to answer earlier,I was too busy with the event and after it,now I had the chance to read all these. So, to make some things clearer

1) I had been given this chance from Dan (ah.fm owner) to organize this, I only tried to collect all the names and inform the Djs about how,when and what... Took me a lot of time and I just did it for my pleasure, to see all the Greek trancers united, something I would love to see in the clubs here in Greece as well.Because I think that this is how the scene moves forward

2) As for the voting procedure, wasn't the purpose to create a competition between them (i don't think that would be such a big deal who comes first, second etc) but to gain more interest from the audience about what each Dj does here in Greece. So, the listeners would have the chance to see AGAIN the names after the show. Extra promotion for each one right? that was the purpose.
I don't think that any of you (the Djs) would earn money or extra fee on your gigs if you come 1st to this voting... So please take advantage of it on the purpose it was mainly created for

3) I am still very happy that this event took place and I am about to start organizing a new one.I don't know when but soon again. The only thing that destroys my willing is to see a bad atmosphere either from the Djs between them or from the listeners to the Djs or anything else. I personally do respect all the Djs that participated from the younger in the scene to the older one.

4) Will always be my pleasure to organize things like this and I want to say to all the partecipants that I am doing radioshows here on ah.fm and wouldn't change for me anything either i did this event or not, meaning that the audience here listens to my sets one way or another.So, in the next one you may not see me at all, or being the last one to play i don't know, even if i will organize this.

Much respect to the older Djs that participated on the event and if you want to do something small for me and this effort is to protect this re-union even if its virtual. I hope to meet you in the dancefloors one day and give the scene the place it deserves...

how can we judge who is the best dj from a prerecorded flawless set of 60 min?
how can we judge the skills of each since every set is recorded from a pc djing s/w?
how can we judge the actual value of each dj since music is such a subjective issue...

I 've seen it as an oppurtunity to get heard out of the Greek Borders (thnx Mr. Vemag for that ;) ) and thats all...
we had a good time and I hope the ah listeners had it also.

i thanked Vemag personally and gave him props for his effort to make this event happen but i ll do it in public too coz he well deserves it.and hope 002 will be even bigger and more massive!

now about the whole voting thing,Chris Stavropoulos made a valid point,there was a bunch of new registrations just for this event which makes it pretty suspicious but in all honest,arguing on a forum for whos best or what not is like winning the gold medal in the speacial Olympics,you might still be the winner but you are still retarded..so i wont get in the whole thing who was best or not,overall i think everyone did a great job and we should see it as a team work effort and not a start pointing single persons seperatly.

also on the other hand tho,i will not take very seriously someones opinion who just signed in on the forum to spam for a particular DJ and that was all.Let every djs work speak of itself and stop bragging about whose best or not.thats my 2 cents.
