As of now I dont mix live (yet) so i use my laptop to produce and mix!
Laptop:
Intel Pentium M730 1,7Ghz
1GB DDRram
Around 310GB HDD
5.1 soundcard from relatec
dont think theres anymore thats important
For mixing I use mixmeister pro 6, and acid pro 4 for rendering to mp3!
For productions I use reason 3.0 + adobe audition 2 for mastering and vocal cutting etc! + 2,5GB usefull refills...
To listen to what i produce I have a 5.1 setup (only use 2 speakers when i produce offcourse) to around 30000NOK, that will be around 5000$...
And i also use some headphones by AKG..
If someone is interrested I can fill out a bunch of details about the sound system!
Maybe ill fill in with pictures later!

Sorry. Turntables (All Stanton) and Final Scratch is at DJ Jasperson's residence.
Our tracks sound better than that studio looks ;-D

No pics yet, but here's a list:
2 x Denon DN-S1000 CD Decks
4 x Technics MK3D Turntables
1 x Vestax PMC-15 mkII Mixer
1 x Behringer VMX 1000 Mixer (piece o' shit)
1 x Mackie 1202 Mixer
1 x Apple G4 iBook (for Ableton Live)
1 x Dell 2.1GHz duo-core laptop (for Serato Scratch)
1 x M-Audio O2 MIDI Controller
1 x M-Audio 88-Key MIDI Controller
1 x Yamaha DGX-202 61-Key Keyboard/MIDI Controller
2 x Serato Scratch Live (need two because of vinyl & CD decks)
1 x PowerMac G4 Desktop (for recording/mastering)
2 x Infiniti Studio Monitors (SM-65s, I think)
Lots of cables and other crap, too...heh. Still building my studio, but those are the basics for now. And yes - I play out using two laptops, a MIDI controller, cd decks, and turntables - it's very time-consuming to set up.

Yeah I will be replacing the Behringer with a Pioneer. Does for the meantime. I'm also looking to get a pair of CDJ1000's soon too.
