I went to Future last year and it seems that the promoters have not learned their lesson regarding the venue. The ridiculous noise restrictions at Doomben ruined last years FMF, so unfortunately there is no way I will be attending it this year being at the same venue

Being at Doomben which is in a residential area, the sound levels were very low by even a night club standard let alone a festival standard. Everyone was complaining about it all day (and all the days after, lol).

Then to make things worse, at about 8 pm the sound was turned down even lower!!!! Then not long after that, the bass was turned right down....... All this just before Ferry Corsten gets on stage.

All and all, the venue is made for horse racing, not dance music events.

I like to 'feel' the music, and unfortunately this venue doesn't allow that

I am hearing that the issue with sound restrictions may be resolved, or may not be as bad as they were last year.... i hope so for your sake!

LOL - I just heard the same thing yesterday. I'll still go...I haven't been to a good doof in AGES. But yeah, I hope they have relaxed the sound restrictions.

I paid $100 for my ticket...so it better be good lol
