SENSATION LINE-UP ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

After months of rumours and wild speculation the hottest tickets in town just got hotter with the official announcement of Sensation’s artist lineup for its New Year’s Eve show “The Ocean Of White” at Etihad Stadium on December 31, 2009.

Swedish House Mafia superstar Sebastian Ingrosso will headline this year’s Sensation “The Ocean Of White” NYE spectacular alongside New York City house legend Roger Sanchez, Richard Durand and Australia's own international success stories Dirty South, Kaz James and opening the show, TV Rock stars Ivan Gough & Grant Smillie.

Swedish House Mafia star Sebastian Ingrosso is that rare thing in dance music: a musician who understands the world of melodies just as much as he understands the power of the kick drum. As both a producer and globe trotting DJ Sebastian Ingrosso is a man on fire- from his recent smash hit ‘How Soon Is Now’ together with Dirty South and David Guetta through to his residencies with infamous Ibiza superclub Pacha and touring the planet with Sensation.

The S-Man cometh! World-renowned Grammy Award winning Superstar DJ and party icon Roger Sanchez has enjoying an unprecedented career as one of house music’s elite. Flying the flag for Australian talent are local superstar exports Dirty South and Kaz James. Dirty South aka Dragan Roganovic has had an impressive rise to stardom. He made an instant name for himself in the dance music industry, impressing the who’s who of international DJ’s, producers, media and music lovers with his remix of “It’s Too Late” for Australian rock outfit Evermore. This remix was licensed to over 30 compilations worldwide, including Ministry of Sounds Sessions Three.

Kaz James is a new-wave enfant terriblé; a dance floor rebel whohelped define a generation with the certified international anthem‘I Like The Way You Move’. As one half of the of BodyRockersduo, Kaz James released an addictive slice of dance/rock fusionthat three years later continues to be recognised as a soundtrackfor the sneering and stylish youth of today.

Trance fans can also share a collective excitement about the dawning of 2010 as Sensation announces a smorgasbord of the hottest trance and progressive sounds spearheaded by big room maestro Richard Durand. Furthermore, the man dubbed by Tiesto as “the next big thing” Sied van Riel, returns to Australia to host the ‘In Riel Time’ room alongside fellow trance stalwarts Binary Finary, Australian trance royalty Trent McDermott and MaRLo plus a host of locals as well as a secret international guest artist to round things off!

Never one to forget the local talent the SENSATION team has hand selected an array of Australia’s finest artists to ring in the New Year for Deluxe ticket holders. Best in show include infamous party girl Ruby Rose, Andy Murphy, Jody McLeod, Ben Morris, Kikumoto Allstars, Chardy plus a host of Australia’s finest house, electro and minimal talent.


Some 40,000 revelers attended last year’s SOLD OUT Sensation debut, the first in the Southern Hemisphere. Returning in 2009 with a new and more spectacular show “The Ocean Of White”, Sensation is Melbourne's premiere New Year’s Eve destination.

As well as seeing in the New Year with an amazing production featuring breathtaking set pieces, fountains, fireworks and Australia's biggest laser and light show, Sensation will also feature the amazing performers, dancers and acrobats. Hi I am coming down from Brisbane to sensations, I was wondering what the dress code is? Singlet and shorts ok? Or do you have to have long pants? And shoes do they have to be all white too?

I'm not going cause I'm not over in Australia, but I LOVE AUSSIES :D (off topic i know lol)
