DO NOT SPREAD OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA - IT SHOULD NOT WORK OUTSIDE AUS!

"Hello all it is my pleasure to announce that we are now relaying AH.FM in Australia. This means that aussies can tune in and not pay for data. We are now testing it.

If you did not know interestingly, alot of isps in australia bill with data packages etc the network we're providing the data via is generally 'non billable'

Test Server for Australians ONLY, noone else should be able to connect to this as its only for Australia.

I'm with Westnet, I believe they got taken over by IInet.

Westnet - Broadband Internet, ADSL, Dialup, Web Hosting, Domain Names and Phone services Australia wide
iiNet - Broadband Internet - Phone - VOIP - ADSL

The links won't work if you're on Telstra, or Optus. But for most other ISP's it should. If your ISP is listed here, it'll work:

^^ Strange though...Western Australia isn't even listed there.

Ahhh thats the reason then, Westnet is currently on the Optus network, thanks anyway :D

whats also strange is that DODO is listed for Victoria, yet i cant pick it up, it times out, it may be glitchy getting 192 from other servers, but you would think it shouldnt be from here if anything, still makes me wonder???

any ideas? DreamensioN?

It should be getting the 192k stream just fine. Which player are you using? Winamp? Media Player? Quicktime? etc.

winamp, tried media player also, quicktime i havent yet ill try that now, and i havent tried my laptop yet, so hence quicktime, vlc, itunes

Just saw the Aussie server pop up in the dynamic playlist, but I can't seem to connect to it from either of my internet connections

Both connections are peered with PIPE, and I can traceroute to and ping the server at au.ah.fm, so I'm not sure why I can't connect to the stream... Any ideas?

Hey Guys,

I look after the Australian ah.fm relay for Dan.

If you're having trouble, and think you're connected to the PIPE IX please let me know what ISP you're on, what state you're in and if possible the IP address you've been assigned by your ISP at the time of your failed attempt to connect.

I will take a look and let you know what might be the problem or ammend firewall rules.

Hey spite,
One of my connections is with Exetel (58.96.65.170, peered in VIC/NSW), the other with aaNet (202.164.202.175, peered in VIC).
Would it be possible to use the lists here PIPE Networks to allow the applicable peered IP's?
