Refer Your Friends to AH!

Hi everyone,

We've enabled a fun new feature: Referring your friends to AH.

Referring is where you tell people about AH, and when they sign up, they tell us that you were the one who told them about AH.

It's easy to do; in your personal profile you'll see a message like the following:

If You Wish To Refer People, Please Use The Following Code:

Simply send your link to anyone you wish to refer to AH, and they can click on it to begin the registration process. By clicking on your link instead of the generic Register links, it will be noted in your profile that you referred them.

We haven't decided yet what we'll do with the biggest referers, but it's kinda fun anyway, so have at it!

PS: no spamming all your friends, saying 'iniqui told me to!'

IMO...not a good idea to do anything with the biggest referrer, i'm sure there's people out there that will abuse it to get whatever the prize/reward will be for it...refer your friends because you truly believe that they should not miss the good music at AH ..just my $0.02

Well, that's subject to debate, but...

In *MY* case, there are a lot of people around my parts that (sadly) would not listen to this station.

I will give you more details:

Here in Tampa, there is not a HUGE trance following, for the most part, it has to do with the fact that this is Breakbeat land (which I hate) and a lot of the Djs do not play Trance HEAVILY.

There are some friends of mine on Myspace that may be interested in AH but, I can only tell them about it. I can't actually take them "hand by hand" and have them register. As far as people in my "real life," the numbers lessen rapidly.

*If* in the future, let's say if AH decides to give "prizes" or whatever to the person with the highest referrals, I think that we will just see an abuse from it all. In fact, we may see more "trolls" on the site that do not care about friends or the music, they just would come on here in the forums and start problems WHICH I have seen it happen in other forums.

I guess that there is only one way to find out. If people want to refer to AH, then, let's see what happens from there.
